DescriptionPlane of standard rectangular shape with a coved step on the discharge side and a recut sole. Top and side edges have narrow flat chamfers that terminate with gouge cuts on the step and what seems to be worn lamb’s tongue cuts on the far side. Fitted with a sharpened iron and wedge with a round finial and simple single curve notch. Four holes in the sole of the integral depth stop and two through the side of the fence indicate further working life alterations to sole.
