DescriptionSprung plane of standard rectangular shape with a reverse ogee step on the discharge side; spring lines present on the toe. Top and side edges have flat chamfers that terminate with gouge cuts on the step and small angled steps followed by gouge cuts on the far side. Fitted with a sharpened iron, and a working life replaced wedge.
