DescriptionMourning Pendant or Brooch: Pointed oval gold frame with solid back, the front edge engraved with a running border pattern enclosing a slightly domed glass and a pointed oval ivory insert painted in black with a figure of a woman beside an unmarked urn-topped column under a willow tree. Gold frame has a solid metal back with a long “T” shaped pin and is surmounted by a hanging loop.
