DescriptionTablespoon with a rounded, upturned, and thickened handle tip which meets the oval bowl with a round drop and an eleven-lobed shell.
Label TextThe attribution to an unknown Philadelphia maker is based on the appearance of the eleven-lobed shell on the back of this spoon, a decorative motif popular with silversmiths working in that city at the time.
InscribedEngraved either "EFC," "TC," or perhaps "EH" in script cypher on the back of the handle tip.
