DescriptionCandlestick: octagonally-faceted straight-sided socket with multiple moldings below rim and cupped lower section; main section of stem of octagonally-faceted inverted-baluster form with octagonally-faceted knop below; base of stem flaring to broad splayed octagonally-faceted base of octagonal plan with short inclined convex sides and molded edge. Stem cast in two parts vertically and base in one.

MarkingsBritannia standard. Maker's mark "Ja" in block letters with a fleur-de-lis below within a shaped shield, lion's head erased, Britannia, and date letter on underside of base. Lion's head erased on socket.
