DescriptionBulbous baluster-shaped and thinly potted jug with flared rim, angular lip spout, strap-loop handle with pinched lower terminal, and spreading foot ring. Blue tin glaze, well painted in blue with a Chinese landscape depicting a larger mandarin and a smaller servant holding a vase in front of a graceful, curving pine tree; in the background, rockwork, another tree, and a distant European landscape.
