DescriptionBedside table: rectangular top with rounded edges, over a scalloped apron; underside of which is cut in cupid's-bow form. Drawer on narrow end of apron; has brass pull. Four tall circular legs gradually taper towards unusually thin ankles; end in relatively large claw and ball feet. Legs splay out slightly from body. Table has all-over stain of deep-reddish cherry; color is consistent.

Woods: Top seems to be cherry; although its grain resembles mahogany; likewise the skirts; drawer front of cherry or mahogany, sides of tulip-poplar; 3 legs seem to be mahogany; 1 leg seems to be of cherry.
InscribedInscription written in ink on glue-block attached to inner edge of narrow apron which stops drawer from going too far back. Seems to be a signature; looks like "M A Ridnick/ ??? ny". Awaits infra-red photography.
