DescriptionIvory satin waistcoat with standing collar, almost-straight fronts, V-shaped cutaway at skirts, and shaped pocket flaps. Embroidered to shape with colored silks in light blue, pink, greens, and brown. Design includes floral vines and sprays around pockets, fronts, and hems, with ground of sprigged pattern. Embroidery primarily in satin stitches. Back of ivory wool; lining of natural linen. Front has 12 embroidered buttons with corded buttonholes, all cut open. No functional pockets.
