DescriptionMan's sleeveless waistcoat made of pink diapered silk in an all-over small pattern similar to "birdseye", trimmed to shape with green silk embroidery, metal purl, and sequins (spangles) in floral trails and spot motifs. Straight fronts are fastened with 13 buttonholes and 8 embroidered buttons. Shallow V-shaped cutaway at skirt and shaped pocket flaps over functional pockets. Lining and back of natural glazed linen. Shown at right in photograph with two other waistcoats.
