DescriptionMan's sleeveless waistcoat of bright yellow silk satin, trimmed down fronts, hems, and around pocket flaps with 1 1/2" wide silver tinsel woven tape or galloon. Waistcoat is collarless, buttoned down front (7 buttons; 11 metallic welt buttonholes.) Shaped pocket flaps are trimmed with 5 buttons, in addition to the silver trim that forms 3 loops beneath each pocket. Waistcoat back made of tabby worsted in yellow, plus fragments of twill worsted. Fronts and skirts faced with silk; lining of cotton and linen twill "fustian."
