DescriptionWoman's petticoat of pale blue-green tabby silk, quilted with running stitches in a pattern of horizontally undulating leaves around the hem, above which are deep swags and tassles, with pineapple-like flowers; surmounted by more swags above. Quilted through woolen batting to white glazed worsted tabby. Batting only extends to top of design; no batting above to waistband. Silk hem tape. Pleated at waist to replaced tapes, with pocket slits on either side. Pleat pattern consists of center front box pleat, with pleats turned toward center back, where there is an inverted box pleat.
