Label TextThe goddess of mercy, representing the quality of infinite compassion, is probably the most popular female form in blanc de chine. This Chelsea model may have been copied directly from a blanc de chine example or simplified from one of the more elaborate sources. Chelsea models are rare, but at least four others survive, including one that is unmarked and another with an inverted mark.
