Dimensions53 1/4" X 41 1/2" overall. Vertical repeat is 13 1/2" (slightly stretched to allow for take-up in quilting.) Each panel approx. 21 1/4" wide (21 3/4" if stretched slightly.) Thread count 56 warps X 44 wefts per inch.

DescriptionSmall quilt made of two panels of blue and white roller-printed cotton, seamed vertically. Design consists of African hunting scenes. At the right, a group of hunters gather around a campfire; to the left are animals within an enclosure and a zebra and gazelle nearby. Below, two hunters attack a pair of leopards with spears. Palm and other leafy trees grow throughout the design. Quilted with running stitches and backed with striped roller print in reds and white on tan ground.
