DescriptionGlobular pot, of light gray clay, with wide flat rim; thick strap loop handle with coil terminal; decorated with two series of incised and relief lines, one below rim, other above base, each series includes a band of cobalt. Around center: three applied oval pads molded in a relief with coat of Arms incorporating: helmet, flanked with scrolls supporting crest of Lorraine cross (two horizontal and one vertical bars, each with equal arms) flanked by initials "I" and "M", helmet supported by arms-shield decorated with: indistinguishable item left, inter-woven lines center, and cross of Lorraine right. Coat of Arms opposite handle flanked by lions passant. Coats of Arms partly decorated, and arms and lions outlined in cobalt.
