DescriptionOval, boat-shaped cream pot with swelled sided and flat base, narrow foot-ring, and "D" shaped handle. Narrow reeded band applied to rim of body and pouring lip. Outer surface of handle also reeded. Interior of cream pot is gilded.
InscribedEngraved on base with block initials "M/M S"
MarkingsStruck in relief on neck near lip: 1) sponsor's mark "TJ" in rectangle; 2) a lion passant; 3) a leopard's head crowned; 4) the date letter "O" for 1809-10; and 5) a duty mark
