DescriptionAppearance: Ladder-back high chair with turned legs and stretchers; integral stiles and rear legs turned at top with ball and ring finials and ball turning between top and medial slats; three arched slats between stiles; front legs turned with flattened ball final; round arms join stiles above bottom slat and front posts just below finial; rush seat; rounded double front and side stretchers, single rear stretcher.

Woods by microanalysis, the four front posts are ash; the slats are birch. The arms and stretchers appear by eye to be birch as well.
