ProvenanceNo history available at time of purchase, however, this group is from the same set as 1982-119, 1-3 which has a history in the Eggleston/Booker families of Ameila and Prince Edward Counties, Virginia. Set originally contained at least twelve chairs, as slip seat of 1982-119,2 is marked "XII." When the 1982-119, 1-3 group was acquired, Roman numerals on slip seats and chair frames indicated that some seats from that group were originally from chairs in this group and vice versa.
