DescriptionMedallion: portrait medallion with profile of Benjamin Franklin; of oval form with slightly beveled edge. The portrait facing left, after the bust by Caffieri. The solid light blue Jasper body dipped in a slightly darker blue. The verso with two round holes, ostensibly for hanging or mounting.
Inscribed"FRANKLIN," impressed just below profile.
Markings"Wedgwood & Bently" incised on verso.
