DescriptionTwo originally square tiles with canted sides. Blue tin glaze decorated in manganese with three grazing deer: on one, a doe and two bucks; on the other, two does and a buck; buttercup corners.
Label TextThese two tiles and another from the same series of grazing deer were adapted from The Ladies Amusement, a volume of drawings intended to be used by textile and ceramic decorators. The buttercup corner appears to have been used only in Liverpool.
