DescriptionSquare tile with canted sides. Bluish tin glaze decorated in blue with a scene depicting Moses and the burning bush (Exodus 3:4): a man standing in a rocky landscape holding a crooked staff with a burning bush to his left, encircled by double concentric bands; barred ox-head corners.
Label TextThree much better painted versions of the same scene are recorded with different borders. The late London attribution is based on the dark blue decoration.
