DescriptionThe upper portion of the ark is two-story house with a small one-story section pushed out at one end of the boat. At the opposite ends there are painted doors. The roof is painted with scalloped shingles and on one side is a dove with an olive branch. Beneath the roof is a wide decorative border with floral design. The corners have painted stone quoins. On each of the two long sides are five 16-paned windows surrounded by a white border. At each end is a small window in the upper story. One entire side of the house beneath the roof, slides out to reveal the hollow ark that can be used for storage of animals and people. The house sits on a painted grey deck that is supported by the reddish-brown deep ship's bottom.
