DescriptionThis is a small square sampler from a work book stitched as an exercise. It is stitched in red silk embroidery threads on a cream-color worsted ground. It has an 1/8" hem on all four sides.From the top the sampler consists of:
"A-J" uppercase block worked in cross stitch
"K-S" uppercase block worked in cross stitch
"T-Z" uppercase block worked in cross stitch
"1-9", "0" worked in cross stitch
"a-r" lowercase block worked in cross stitch
"s-z" lowercase block worked in cross stitch
