DescriptionSide, splat back chair; one of set of four; bow-shaped cresting rail w/slightly scrolled ears; seven-lobed fan in center of rail. Rectangular stiles, rounded in back. Pierced, interlaced scroll splat. Square-shaped seat w/molded top edges; seat rails tenoned through rear legs. "Marlborough" legs square in cross section w/molded outer edges on front legs. Rectangular side, medial, and rear stretchers. Yellow pine slip seat.InscribedModern pencilled Roman numerals I-IV on left front corner blocks.
MarkingsSlip seat has Roman numeral V on seat rail.
