DescriptionPair of wall brackets each with a shaped plateau carved with stylized leaves and supported on an eagle, a deeply scalloped and leaf-carved asymmetrical pendant below, the eagles facing each other.
Label TextDescribed by Thomas Chippendale as “brackets for busts,” asymmetrical carved and gilt wall brackets were often used to display ceramic ornaments.
