DescriptionThis is an almost square woven coverlet in an overshot weave technique of natural cotton with green, red, and dark blue wool. It is made up of two woven panels center seamed. The geometric pattern of this coverlet is often called "Sunrise." The borders are part of an overall design sometimes called "Bonaparte's March."
The weaver is unidentified.
