DescriptionWavy edge plate, with 1/2" rim, the edge valanced in 5 sections and multiple reeded. Initials P & CM in wreath engraved on rim. Initials PS under base.
InscribedOwners' initials "M/PC" engraved within a rococo cartouche on each rim, and "P S" engraved on underside of each well.
MarkingsTouch mark the golden fleece framed by "SAMUEL" and "ELLIS" within outlined curved reserves above and below and flowers to either side, all within a vertical oval on underside of each well (Cotterell 1547).
