DescriptionBOX (2002-123,A) - Lid with incised and stamped linear and floral decorations, iron wire hinges with brass hasp. Engraved label on inside of lid depicting a well dressed hand holding a scale within a floral rococo border to left, and a coin weight & value table.

SCALE (2002-123,B) - Iron balance with some decorative filing, 3 green suspension strings for sheet brass pans.

WEIGHTS (2002-123,C1-11) - C1 through C3 struck in imitation of the coins they are intended to balance against (with portraits of monarchs), C4 through C7 struck with their weight (C5 & C7 cast, C6 struck) and C8 through C11 stamped with numerals (19th-20th century).
