DescriptionBottle: Octagonally molded bottle of olive green glass with hand-worked neck and string rim, the latter flattened against the somehwat thickened lip, only slightly rising base; the front and rear panels are broader than those at the end, and the seal bears the legend: "I / Greenhow / Wms.brg / 1769".

ProvenanceThis bottle was purchased from Mrs. S. B. Barham of Surry Court House, Virginia in 1933. It was housed with in the archaeology collection building until 2005 when it was transferred to the glass collection.
