DescriptionRummer: Colorless lead glass, blown with pressed foot, cut and engraved. Cup-shaped bowl with a fire-polished rim and collar at bottom, mounted on a solid, pressed square foot with a spreading round stem. Polished pontil, slightly domed. The side is engraved with a large foliate initial "N" (presumably for Nivison). Above the initial is an engraved border consisting of a single horizontal line and repeating vertical ellipses that alternate with a small stylized flower motif. The lower portion of the bowl is cut with flutes. One of a pair with 2008-53,2.
