A pearlware jug of typical Liverpool shape, with molded strap handle, applied pouring lip, and reeded bands of medium blue slip at the top and bottom of the body. An applied, molded oval badge beneath the spout features a crowned "GR" picked out in cobalt blue. The badge is surrounded by scalloping and foliate vines incised and colored in the style of scratch blue decoration.
