Label:This print of Reverend Thomas Hiscox (1686-1773) was copied from a portrait of the reverend painted by Robert Feke in 1745. The mezzotint was published the year of his death. Hiscox was the pastor of the Seventh Day Baptist Congregation in Westerly, Rhode Island.

The original portrait is in the collection of the Redwood Library and Athenaeum in Newport, Rhode Island.
