Colorless lead glass, blown and cut. Conical bowl with fire-polished rim, resting on collar, button stem, round foot, polished pontil, the lower portion of the bowl is cut with seven flutes.
Provenance:Dating of object shows it was owned by Governor Littleton Waller Tazewell (1774-1860)

Descended through the family to previous owners Mr. Pete and Mrs. Jane Wittemore, Virginia Beach, VA
