Globular teapot with applied spout and loop handle, cylindrical neck, and everted base. Engraved on one side with a spray of rosebuds and leaves, and on the other with a shield with "S F" monogram on the inside, and crossed leaf sprays below. Cover has swan finial.
Label:Glass teapots are great rarities. Their use is difficult to document, but opaque white glass tea wares are known to have enjoyed a limited popularity during the middle of the eighteenth century.
