Spoon: narrow elliptical bowl, with "rat-tail" on back, stem flattened terminating in "wavy-end" with upturned tip. Initials M T in block letters (owners) on back of handle.
Label:This spoon of unusual intermediate size was probably intended for general utility rather than for more gentrified or specialized use, such as one of a set of dessert spoons. Such distinctions were just being introduced into silver flatware at this time.

Mark(s):No apparent touch mark. Secondary mark a quality "X" on underside of handle.
