Banjo, fretless 5-string with seven stars painted on the rim; three stars painted on the neck and one star on the tail piece. It has a 13 1/2" hide head. This banjo is similar to several found in the Smyth County Viriginia area.
Provenance:CW purchased from Roderick Moore of Ferrum, VA, in 2005.
