Bed valance made from cotton blockprinted with indigo blue on natural color tabby-woven cotton ground. Design shows a delicate scrolling floral stripe alternating vertically with dotted scallops filled with floral sprigs.The valance is shaped straight along the top edge and has scallops shaping the bottom edge. Top and bottom edges are bound with light blue silk tape. Original brass rings for hanging are stitched to the top edge. Lined with natural tabby-woven linen.
