Appearance: Banister-back side chair, baroque style. Double-round crest rail; curved, molded stiles; blocked and turned front legs; turned front stretcher; squared side and rear stretchers; straight, trapezoidal seat frame; mortise and tenon construction; originally upholstered in leather on seat and back and trimmed with double rows of brass nails.

Woods: Maple stiles, front legs, stretchers, side seat rails, crest rail, stay rail, and splat stiles; oak front seat rail.
