Flat crest rail; angled stiles, blocked and turned above the seat rail; blocked and turned front posts; straight, trapezoidal seat frame; down swept arms terminating in carved volutes; plain side and rear stretchers; turned front stretcher; originally upholstered in leather on the seat and back with double rows of brass nails; mortise-and-tenon construction, some joints pinned; arms tenoned into stiles and wedged from above.

Maple stiles, front legs, crest rail, stay rail, left splat stile, side and rear seat rails, and stretchers; oak front seat rail and right splat stile.
