Description1) Door lock 2) KeyLabel TextThis beautiful door lock, although certainly the product of Germanic influences, as been tentatively attributed to the shop of John Vogler of Salem (now Winston-Salem), NC. A lock originally installed in Vogler's own shop during the early 19th century bears a slight resemblance to this object with its "fist & baton" door knob.
