Label TextThis is a view of the Palace of Fountainebleau, a French palace that was the residence of royals from dating back to the 12th century and is located southeast of Paris. A terrace is shown with elegantly dressed ladies and men strolling and talking. Below the terrace a canal is shown. A very elaborate barge has just pulled up to the dock and people are getting in and out of the vessel. Extensive shaded grounds cover the rest of the print.
