DescriptionAlmost bowl shaped round dish, applied foot ring with hole pierced through for hanging. Thin white tin glaze, body yellowish through glaze. For landscape scene in cobalt over entire face, surrounded by blue band just inside rim. Couple arm-in-arm under tree, second man presenting flowers to lady holding fan. Back and foreground has rocks in broad brushwork and sponged bushes. In left background is church and adjacent building. T-shaped birds in sky. Figures done with fine brush work and shading. Inscription bottom center; RBA 1737. 2 (of 3?) stilt marks visible on reverse.
