DescriptionMuff decoration. Hand painted and engraved roundel depicting a man and woman dancing or embracing; the room view shows a flower arrangement on small table by curtained window; cupid dancing around between the couple and gilt settee. Costumes appear to be late 18th century style. Same design appears on 1958-30. Supposedly painted for decorating ladies' muffs.
