DescriptionPair of elongated taper-shaped vases in semicircle form. Bluish tin glaze decorated in blue, each with a Chinese man standing on a bridge in a terraced garden: on one, the man is wearing a hat and clasps his hands in front of him; on the other, the raises his left arm showing his flowing sleeve; on the waists, loosely painted flower faces; on the bases, pointed knop finials.
Label TextA similarly shaped delft wall pocket with similar Chinese figures, but with a convex top section and a concave center section, is in the Bristol Museum.
