DescriptionTeapot: globular-shaped teapot with c-shaped twisted and reeded handle opposite the modified s-shaped reeded spout. Horizontal rouletted bands of incised dots encircle the mouth and foot; molded portraits around the body: one bust portrait of George III, two of Princess Charlotte and three applied floral sprigs. Integrated lid with spool knop and 3 floral sprigs. Allover melon-type decoration of green and yellow stripes.Label TextThis teapot was probably made to commerate the 1761 wedding of George III and Princess Charlotte.
