DescriptionClose stool: rectangular top, upholstered with modern brown leather with walnut strips nailed to edge of upholstered seat. Top hinged in back; lifts up in front to reveal frame for pot (replaced) and loose seat (replaced). Deep, scalloped skirts on all four sides, with beaded edges along base. Four legs turned in block, ring and vase pattern. No stretchers. Legs end in well-articulated Spanish feet.
Markings"TT" stamped into proper left front corner of wood around perimeter of seat.
