DescriptionWhite dish composed of three shells, each on separate open rockwork base with applied shells and coral, and all connected in the center with rockwork and coral to form a handle. Unmarked.
Label TextThis rare example incorporates three of the familiar shell salts, attached with seaweed and shell and with a piece of coral forming the finial or handle. Among the few surviving dishes of this shape is one in the collection of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
