On the reverse of each piece, a numeral 8.Label TextDelft tureens of this form are generally believed to have been made in Dublin, although a similar tureen (from a service represented by CWF accession 1951-131) is attributed to the Delftfield pottery in Glasgow, Scotland. The only difference between the two tureens is that the finial on the Delftfield piece is shaped more like a pear than an apple.
