DescriptionOval-shaped creamware teapot with flattened cover with flower finial, the entwined handle terminating in leaves and flowers, the fluted spout molded with a stiff leaf band, painted in red and black with hearts joined by a ribbon above the motto "Love Unites Us", the reverse with the inscription "When this you see Remember me tho many miles we distant be," between rope-twist bands.ProvenancePurchased by source from Christie's South Kensington Ltd., London, Sale #POR 6206, Lot 183, August 5, 1993 for CWF.
