Label TextPrint of Charlotte Mercier, daughter of Philippe (Philip) Mercier, the painter of the original canvas. She is shown facing front, dressed in a fine gown with ribbons on the bodice, a cap with pearl decoration, and a ruffle around her neck. She plays a cup and ball game, known as a bilbo catcher.
