DescriptionMiniature high chest of drawers with simulated wood graining on deal. Upper section: front and two sides of top finished by a quarter round molding above an oval molding; 3 drawers graduated in size from top to bottom; base: front and 2 sides of top finished with a quarter round molding; one drawer in base; half round molding at each side and across bottom outline the drawer opening; two tear drop shaped brass drawer pulls and one oval brass keyhole escutcheon on each drawer; single half circle in skirt at each side, 2 half circles in skirt at front; 3 turned legs at front and one at each back corner, all consist of the following elements from top to bottom: flattened ball, inverted cup, element circular in section and tapering inward from top to bottom, quarter round molding, convex molding, short cylinder; straight stretcher at back, stretcher at each side curving inward in a half circle shape, 2 stretchers at front in a half-circle shape; 3 feet at front and 1 at each back corner of a cylindrical shape rounded at top; original keys survive for top drawer of upper section and drawer of base; all surfaces of top, sides, legs, stretchers and feet decorated with original graining of black lines on a red ground.
